This four night Rico Oaxaca tour offers you relaxing, yet exciting learning experience about Oaxacan cuisine, a cuisine quickly becoming world famous for its variety and richness of flavor. Beginning with a welcome reception, this package includes two Oaxaca City market tours both followed by cooking classes with Pilar, and guided tour of Monte Alban a stunning archaeological sight just outside of Oaxaca City. Costs also include four nights stay at La Casa de Los Sabores Bed and Breakfast, Pilar´s newly renovated colonial home with open patio and kitchen where classes will be held. Also, delicious traditional Oaxacan breakfasts are provided each morning between 8:00 am – 10:00 am. Dinners are not included, but we will provide you with many restaurant suggestions. This tour also includes an old-age Oaxacan steam bath/massage called a “Temazcal”. This tour can acquaint you with the Oaxacan culture and cuisine.

For a more in depth look at Oaxacan food and customs, we also offer a seven night Rico Oaxaca package. A welcome reception will be given which begins your seven-night stay at La Casa de Los Sabores Bed and Breakfast. Here, as well, you will enjoy a Oaxacan breakfast served daily from 8:00 am-10 am. This package provides you with extensive market tours within Oaxaca City and the surrounding pueblos, three cooking classes taught by Pilar and tours to a wide variety of archeological sites such as Mitla and Monte Alban. Your experience will also include excursions to area pueblos to learn how traditional Oaxacan crafts are produced such as Teotitlan del Valle, famous for its woven rugs. Your time spent with us will allow you an in depth look at Oaxaca City, its food, and it´s surrounding areas.
